Important technical specifications of the long-awaited MG Cyberster have surfaced online thanks to China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Two powertrain configurations will be offered for the Cyberster. Sitting at the base of the range will be a rear-wheel drive model that produces a respectable 310 hp. Those seeking a little more power will be able to order the Cyberster with all-wheel drive that combines a more powerful 335 hp rear electric motor with an electric motor at the front delivering an extra 201 hp. The result is a combined 536 hp and 535 lb-ft (727 Nm) of torque, figures reserved for supercars just a decade ago. The all-wheel drive model will hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in around 3 seconds.
