Over the years, there have been plenty of rumors surrounding a smaller alternative to the iconic G-Class, and now that model has finally been confirmed. The confirmation came directly from Mercedes' CEO, Ola Kallenius, who briefly spoke about it during the unveiling of the CLA Concept at the 2023 Munich Motor Show in Germany.

In a short interview with CNBC, which was recently posted online, the brand's head honcho said the vehicle will be introduced in a few years, referring to it as the "Little G."

"We have something in store for G fans around the world. Actually, tonight we are going to announce that there will be a 'Little G,'" Kallenius said. "So, the daughter or son of the big G is also going to come to G fans around the world in a few years from now."
