As the Tesla Cybertruck is nearing its official launch, everyone expects it to be the best pickup truck on the market. These hopes were dealt a massive blow as one release-candidate Cybertruck was spotted with the hazard lights on in the middle of Interstate 580 in Richmond. Moments later, the same truck was covered with a silver tarp and appeared abandoned on the median.
Every car model involves a great deal of testing before entering series production, and the Cybertrucks is no exception. For the past year, we've seen many prototypes in various stages of development testing on public roads and at testing facilities around the world. Not every encounter was flattering for Tesla, as some revealed some Cybertruck weaknesses. Still, there were no significant issues to report most of the time.
