 28-year-old man tragically lost his life in Prince George's County when a hit-and-run driver struck him. The perpetrator's actions were captured by a doorbell camera.

On a Saturday, the lifeless body of Franklin Mendez, aged 28, was discovered on Ardwick Ardmore Road. Concerned neighbors reviewed their doorbell camera footage, revealing the suspect exiting his vehicle, removing Mendez's body from the windshield, and then hastily departing in his car.

According to law enforcement, the victim had been involved in a separate collision two miles away. After stepping out of his vehicle, he was apparently struck by the suspect, who then drove for two miles with Mendez's body on the windshield. The driver finally removed Mendez's body and left him lifeless on Ardwick Ardmore Road.

Authorities are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect, described as driving an older model gray Honda Civic.
