Hyundai has had enough of the TikTok saga that put a target on the back of its vehicles, so the company has announced a country-wide effort that'll bring software update stations closer to drivers.

The company refers to them as mobile clinics, allowing drivers to bring their vulnerable Hyundais to certain locations, get the patch, and then drive home without fearing that someone would steal their car.

Viral TikTok videos taught netizens how to steal Hyundai and Kia models without an immobilizer. The method comes down to breaking into a car, typically by smashing a side window, breaking open the steering wheel column, and plugging a cable into a port that lets thieves drive away freely. The hack has become increasingly widespread, leading to thousands of thefts in the United States.
