In our research to rank every generation of Mazda Miata from worst to best, Mazda representatives were happy to help us find the latest numbers, revealing that as of the end of August 2023, Mazda had sold 1,192,886 units of the MX-5 Miata globally since its Detroit Auto Show reveal in 1989.
