Subaru has unveiled an updated Solterra EV at this year's Japan Mobility Show, The biggest changes it received are a new square-shaped steering wheel and a couple of new features for its advanced driver assist technologies (ADAS). The company likewise claims that it has improved its range thanks to nifty adjustments to its power-consuming on-board features.

The changes, according to the Japanese brand, were brought about due to customer feedback. One particular complaint it had to address was the chunkiness of its old circular steering wheel which interfered with the visibility of the digital instrumentation. With a square steering wheel, drivers will now look over the top of it rather than through the upper section.
