I wanted to send you a quick email not to ask about the details, but to tell you about my experience, as I have taken up the offer.
It was absolutely wonderful. The dealership offering this deal was extremely professional, friendly, and accommodating! I live in Dallas, and after I read about the deal I attempted to pose a similar offer to Sewell Infiniti here. They couldn’t come close, and, not only that but, they were indifferent to me. I’m 27 years old, and I can only assume that maybe the salesman thought I wasn’t their “target market” and that I wasn’t seriously considering the car. I tried very hard to convey that to him however, he all but ignored me. Not a good experience.
These guys were excellent! Jim, who was the person who helped me with the deal, was extremely professional and found a shipping company that could ship it quickly at a very reasonable price. He went out of his way to accommodate me, and that says volumes about how he does business.
I feel pretty lucky because I don’t think most people are accounting for the whole package on this M45. It’s looks are decidedly conservative, but that doesn’t mean that it’s chopped liver! For the price of this deal I’m getting an awful lot, and the keys in my view are: 340 hp V8 (a lot more than most sedans with the exception of the high end MBs and BMWs), power seats, heated and cooled (the latter is going to be refreshing in Texas), power everything else (windows, locks, steering wheel), voice command (which isn’t just a gimmick, it lets me keep my eyes on the road). And, It handles very well, sure not as well as an M5, but I don’t have that kind of money. I previously owned an Audi TT, and I feel this is quite a step up…and finally a real back seat!
Bottom line, BMWs and MBs are a dime a dozen in Dallas…. The M45 to me feels every bit as high in quality and performance as these, but I get to have one for half the price!
