Stellantis NV will not participate in the Chicago Auto Show next month, the automaker confirmed on Wednesday, as it says it's looking to prioritize marketing spending.

Citing efforts for "preserving business fundamentals" amid a "challenging U.S. automotive market," Stellantis says it will evaluate participation in auto shows on a "case-by-case basis" to be "as efficient as possible in our media spend," according to a statement sent by spokesperson Rick Deneau. The company says it still will prioritize opportunities for consumers to experience its vehicles in person.
