Demand for EVs is continuing to crash - moving manufacturing giants to hit the brakes on production while prompting a global price-cut war.

The average electric car now sits unsold for more than 75 days, which is 25 percent longer than a regular gas equivalent, according to a JD Power survey conducted for the Wall Street Journal.

Meanwhile, EV sales as a share of overall US vehicle sales have declined from 9 to 8 percent over the last three months.
