The Cadillac Optiq is finally here! General Motors has been teasing it for months, showing much of it, but not quite everything. However, what we have known for quite a while has been confirmed. It is… orange.
We have been looking at the photos of the exterior painted in orange for ages, trying to figure out what the cabin hides. Two weeks before debut, images of the dashboard leaked, and we got to see how much the Optiq is the little brother of the Lyriq.
Now, General Motors has finally unveiled the model as the result of a joint venture with SAIC, officially launching it in China. Sitting on GM's Ultium architecture and sharing most of its components with the Chevrolet Blazer EV, the all-new Optiq will be available in two variants, Standard and Long Range, with their names indicating how far they will go on a single charge.
