An Atlanta-based entrepreneur, Kiauna, who operates a rental car business, has shared her insights on which vehicles potential buyers should avoid. With a TikTok following of over 17,000, Kiauna has garnered attention for her lifestyle content and candid advice. In a recent video, she discussed the cars she would not recommend based on her experience with 15 cars.
Kiauna's list included models from well-known manufacturers such as Jeep and Mercedes-Benz. She started by advising against purchasing the Jeep Wrangler. According to Kiauna, her brand-new Jeep Wrangler caught fire, leading to it being labeled a "lemon." A "lemon" is a term for a car with significant defects that make it unsafe to drive, with the exact definition varying from state to state. Examples of such defects include non-working or faulty brakes, engines, transmission, or lights.
Kiauna also warned against the Dodge Hornet, citing electrical issues and a failure to drive after three months of ownership. Despite having over 20,000 miles on the vehicle, it was not deemed a lemon, which Kiauna found frustrating. In her opinion, the Dodge Hornet is "trash" and not worth the investment.
