During the annual BMW Group shareholder meeting, CEO Oliver Zipse announced that Mini is having quite the year. It debuted the Aceman back in April and is now seeing strong demand for the new Mini Cooper.
 
According to Zipse, the Mini Cooper is doing so well that it's sold out for the next four months. He also said to expect a new Mini Convertible, but not until the second half of this year. These models are being built worldwide in Oxford in the UK, China, and, for the first time, in Leipzig, Germany.
