Following a dip in demand, The Blue Oval announced that it would be scaling back its planned production of the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning at the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center back in March, and that it was also cutting its expected EV battery orders from suppliers, to boot. However, with commercial customers continuing to show a strong interest in FoMoCo’s EVs, it was unclear if this would also be the case with the fleet-focused 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning Pro, which is curiously missing from the automaker’s official site.
Remember when all the media told you the $39k Lightning was a Tesla killer? DOH!
