This is quite impressive. It's in French but you can clearly see how effective Bose's new active suspension is. And there is a surprise at the end. Instead of using buffers and springs, this prototype is simply using magnets. That means that as soon as the car "feels" a bump, the wheel lifts itself to avoid it and when the car turns or brakes, the suspension remains completely stiff, giving remarkable handling. The system can even be set to "lean" towards the inside of the corner like a motorcycle to give even more traction in corners. This means that this suspension could give a car incredible handling while having a ride comfort level superior to what any car avaliable today can offer.
