Dodge is trying to build excitement for its first all-electric muscle car, the Dodge Charger Daytona, by giving us a taste of the fake exhaust sounds that will be on offer, but enthusiasm for the new EV may wane after seeing the pricing. As first reported by Mopar Insiders, the Charger Daytona will have a base MSRP that is at least $10,000 higher than the equivalent Charger cost in now-dead V8 form, against the muscle car spirit of democratizing power at an affordable price.
