The Blue Oval has been pretty busy in August – aside from the now-classic recalls, that is. On the positive side, the second-largest Detroit automaker seems pretty safe from the predicted EV meltdown of 2024, as its zero-emission sales hit record figures in July. The newly refreshed 2025 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator started shipping to customers this month. Ford Pro launched the 2025 Ford Police Interceptor Utility, and the latest version, including the successful hybrid powertrain option, is shipping to police agencies across the country.
 
But that's not all because Ford also tapped into its wackier side of the business. For example, Ford and N+ – a leader in cycling technology – teamed up to bring the spirit and performance of the Bronco and Mustang nameplates on two wheels. So, they are launching a fresh lineup of newly licensed e-bike models. Alas, more importantly, after announcing the updated 2025 Maverick unibody compact pickup truck in late July, this month Ford also brought back the ethos of performance street trucks with the new performance-tuned 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo flagship.
