Late last year, Honda and Nissan announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to undergo a merger, which is set to be completed in August 2026. The merger came after Nissan's financial struggles in the second half of 2024 and will see the two automakers combine their operations under a single holding company. There are still many questions regarding what the merger will mean for future Honda and Nissan products, but today during a media roundtable at CES, Honda executives shed some light on possible areas of collaboration.
