Foxconn the world's leading contract electronics manufacturer based in Taiwan, has reportedly proposed a partnership with Japan's Honda Motor.
 
The proposal also includes a plan to bring rival automakers Nissan Motor and Mitsubishi Motors  into the framework, according to a report from the Nikkei newspaper on Friday.

Earlier this month, Foxconn's chairman had indicated the company's interest in acquiring a stake in Nissan.
