Ford Motor Company is lowering prices across its 2026 F-150 Lightning lineup as it adjusts to the loss of the federal electric vehicle tax credit. With cuts of up to $4,000, Ford aims to keep its all-electric pickup competitive in a rapidly shifting market.
 
The decision comes just weeks after the expiration of the $7,500 federal EV incentive on September 30. Ford initially explored plans to extend the tax benefit through an internal rebate program.
