Stellantis NV's Warren Truck Assembly Plant has halted vehicle production for at least three weeks due to disruptions caused by a fire at a crucial aluminum supplier in New York last month, a union official said.
 
The facility where the automaker builds Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer full-size SUVs has been idled this week, and is expected to be down at least through the end of the month due to a shortage of aluminum caused by a Sept. 16 fire at Novelis Inc.'s Oswego plant, according to Eric Graham, president of United Auto Workers Local 140, which represents workers at Warren.
