The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLB is here, ready to follow in the footsteps of its compact siblings, the CLA and GLC, as the German brand ditches the complicated EQ nameplate model by model for a longer and even more complicated designation, partially returning to the usual designation but sticking the "with EQ Technology" name to it. Hybrid variants will arrive in the lineup later on.

The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLB retains the boxy proportions, as seen in the spy shots for the past few months, with space for up to seven occupants. It comes with an 85-kWh lithium-ion battery pack and sits on an 800-volt architecture.
