For every winner there’s a loser (or two), says an old saying. Across the US automotive market, a lot of players are still reeling from a harsh winter, but there were a few valiant companies that, for the better or worse, still kept the tradition and reported their monthly sales.
Kia America, for example, continued the winning streak and posted record sales in February 2026, reaching 66k units during the frigid month. Subaru of America, on the other hand, used to count how many months of sales increases it had, but the luck has run out, and last year it registered a 3.6 percent decrease compared to 2024.
