BYD has confirmed that its Yangwang U9 Xtreme electric supercar was sold for more than 20,000,000 yuan (2,760,000 USD) per unit at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, making it the highest-priced transaction recorded at the event, according to company executive Li Yunfei.
Based on the disclosed price, it is BYD’s most expensive production vehicle to date.
