The automaker officially announced that Cadillac F1 Team reserve driver Zhou Guanyu has been appointed a brand ambassador for the Chinese market, where the luxury brand seeks to connect with customers who follow global motorsports and are performance-vehicle enthusiasts. In fact, the symbol of Chinese motorsport pride in Formula 1 will take part in an experimental marketing initiative to promote local sales of the Cadillac CT5 sedan.
