2026. The 12th-generation model isn’t due out until later in the 2020s, but a new report claims that the sedan will receive futuristic-looking updates inside and out to celebrate its 50th birthday.
Gary Robinson, the head of product planning for Honda’s American division, told Automotive News that the Accord will receive “pretty major” changes that will make it “feel like a new model.” While he didn’t describe what the Accord will look like, anonymous insiders familiar with Honda’s plans said that the new styling will be “modern and futuristic” without veering too far toward the polarizing side of the scale.
