Japanese car brands are increasingly turning to US-built products to bulk out their domestic line-ups, but each comes with its caveats that point towards build quality not being up to expectation.
Toyota has confirmed the Tundra and Highlander for Japan, while Nissan will bring the Murano across the Pacific – with all three models built in the US and then exported.
However, an “important note” listed on the Nissan website states Japanese buyers need to be made aware of certain things.
