The price of the new Range Rover Evoque L crossover fell by 33,945 USD in China as Chery Jaguar Land Rover switches to the Freelander project. According to the local dealer, the new Evoque L could be purchased for 200,000 yuan (29,545 USD).
Chery and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) established a joint venture in China back in 2012. In 2014, they completed the construction of the CJLR plant in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. However, it was previously reported that this manufacturing facility will cease the production of all its models by the end of 2026, including the Evoque L.
