GM's Chevrolet division has revealed that its all-new Silverado 1500 pickup truck will be offered in the Middle East. For prospective customers in this part of the world, General Motors isn't bothering with the base 2.7-liter turbo inline-four or the 3.0-liter turbo diesel inline-six. Rather, the only engine options viable in said part of the world are the 5.7- and 6.6-liter small blocks.

Scheduled to reach Middle Eastern markets in the summer of 2027, the half-ton pickup will be offered with the 5.7 across most of the range. The flagship ZR2 off-road grade will receive the larger engine. Both truck-specific lumps are derived from the LS6 naturally aspirated 6.7 of the 2027 model year Corvette Stingray, Corvette Grand Sport, and Corvette Grand Sport X.
