Said rating alone disqualifies the rear-biased model from receiving either Top Safety Pick accolade, which is a bit of a bummer when you remember that Lexus operated a facelift back in September 2025.
For 2026, engineers modified the driver seatbelt load limiter to improve driver protection during moderate overlap frontal impacts. The adjustment delivered positive results, with sensor data recorded from the crash test dummy indicating a negligible risk of injury.
