Delphi and XM Introduce 'Roady2' Satellite Radio Receiver

The Smallest, Lightest Satellite Radio to Feature Customizable Stock Quotes and Internal Wireless FM Adaptor

Delphi Corp. (NYSE:DPH) , a pioneer of in-vehicle entertainment and electronics and XM Satellite Radio (NASDAQ:XMSR) , America's No. 1 satellite radio service, are introducing the new Delphi XM "Roady2" -- an all new plug-and-play satellite radio receiver at the 2004 Home Entertainment Show in New York this weekend.

With its compact design, the Roady2 is on average four times smaller than competing plug-and-play models. The unit also has a built-in wireless FM adapter for easy connection to any car or home radio, a sleek new metallic gunmetal colored body and a choice of seven different backlight colors. Additionally, Roady2 is the first receiver to display up to 20 customized stock quotes.

"The Delphi XM partnership has brought another breakthrough product to market," said Joseph Damato, director, consumer electronics, Delphi Product & Service Solutions, the aftermarket division of Delphi Corp. "Roady2 sets a new standard for small size and functionality -- making it the clear choice for consumers who want all the benefits of satellite radio without the bulk and complexity found in competitive designs."

Roady2 will join the original Roady as one of the most affordable satellite radios on the market when it arrives to prominent retailers this July.

"We are excited about Roady2 because for the first time, XM listeners can access customized stock quotes while listening to XM," said Brian Shea, vice president, product marketing and distribution, XM Satellite Radio. "The device works with any FM radio for simple installation."

Delphi XM Roady2 and all other XM satellite radios offer more than 120 digital radio channels including 68 channels of commercial free music, plus news, sports, talk, comedy, and other entertainment programming from coast to coast. Subscribers pay just $9.99 a month for the XM service.

In addition to existing accessories, new home kits and portable audio systems for the Roady family of products will be available at retailers nationwide this summer.

Delphi also manufactures the critically acclaimed Delphi XM SKYFi receiver, the best-selling portable satellite radio in the industry, and the new Delphi CD Audio System, the industry's first system to offer XM Satellite Radio along with a CD/CDR/MP3 player and AM/FM tuner.

"Delphi's satellite radios include the best-selling receiver on the market today and the industry's first portable unit," added Damato. "In fact, three out of four satellite radio listeners use Delphi hardware."

With Roady less than $120 and the SKYFi systems around $170, Delphi and XM have both the smallest and the most feature-rich assortment of products in the industry, along with the most market competitive price today when combining subscription and hardware costs.
