Auto Spies exclusive: New BMW sport ute on the way
And it's NOT the X3
Check out this email from one of our spies:
Well, I can tell you that over the next four years, BMW is telling it's centers to anticipate a 50% increase in product allocation... ALL in the SAV segment. While the X3 will be wildly popular at worst, there cannot be a realistic expectation that it's sales will outpace the 3 series. That tells you something is in the works, but there is no officially scheduled launch date for any of these new products. And of course, BMW repeatedly denies the existence of any such projects. I'll let you know if I hear anything.
Auto spies perspective: Seems like BMW will be increasing allocations of SUV's to their dealer base...when you look at the size of the increase, we agree that one can only assume another model on top of the X3, has to be on the way. Our best guess...the X5L, a longer wheelbase variant of the next generation X5.
