Interesting letter we recieved this week...

Dont' know if you have any info on the timing of the launch of the new S-class. I drive an S430 and went down to my local dealer to put down my deposit and get on the list for the new one.
They told me that they would not take money from customers now because MBUSA keeps delaying the launch - which they said should not be earlier than in Sept 2006 (about 16 months from now) and that it may be delayed even more. They did say that considering the launch was a year away, there are a lot of people on the waiting list already.
Don't know if you care about this, but I thought I'd pass it along - I really expected that the new "S" would be launched in a about a year (spring 2006) and was surprised it will be delayed to the fall.
