X-type getting X'ed?
Rising inventory worries dealers and Jaguar
Jaguar will stop the X-type production line for two weeks, due to weak sales. Jaguar is planning to 'temporarily' stop production of its X-type model during the last two weeks in February.
They will cut production by 2,500 units. The Detroit News reported, that Jaguar denied that the scaled-back production plans are a result of weak sales, of the "Baby Jag" model.
But the Spies will tell you, that X-type's have been sitting on dealer lots like stones, lately.
