1. What's New With The CPT9000 Integrated Hands-Free Phone System?
The Handset (Motorola V60i)

Advanced “take-it-with-you” multi-network portable digital phone Dual Band, Tri Mode Flexibility: Works on all major analog, TDMA, CDMA, GSM (expected to be available in Q2 2003) wireless networks (No need to switch carriers, calling plans or phone numbers).

2. Is CPT9000 Available For All BMW Vehicles?
Yes, but currently it is available only on 7 Series (E65) as a standard feature. It is expected to be available on all other vehicles later this year.

3. Will The BMW Digital CPT8000 Still Be Available?
With the launch of CPT9000 integrated phone system, CPT8000 will be discontinued on the 7 Series (E65). It will continue to be available on all other vehicles till such time the new V60i system is available.

4. Which Carriers Are Supported On The V60i System?
The V60i handset supports Verizon, AT&T, Alltel and Cingular services. Please consult carrier for specific and up-to-date information on rate plans.

5. When Is The GSM Version Of The V60i Integrated Phone System Expected?
Launch of the GSM version of V60i is expected in Q2 of 2003.

6. Is CDMA And TDMA Technology Compatible With GSM?
Handsets (phones) for GSM systems are not capable of analog operation. A vehicle leaving GSM coverage would not be able to make, receive or continue calls. TDMA and CDMA technologies offer backup analog operation and therefore have substantially increased coverage over GSM networks.
