I've been receiving a lot of email regarding a subject that very few people have noticed.

In a recent C&D comparison they gave the nod to the BMW 3-series over the new Lexus IS.

See re-post from the sharp eye of one of our bloggers, Dan:

Oh, and also, I saw a posting wayyyy back about car and driver's comparison test between the IS, 3-series, and other sedans in this class, and I just wanted to point out something that not many people have noticed. Caranddriver totaled up the score for the 3-series incorrectly, so based on the point-system, there was actually a tie for first place between the IS350 and the 3-series. (of course, they'll never admit to this mistake--the article clearly shows their bias towards BMW. I mean, who the hell lets a car with so many electronic malfunctions, one of which caused them to do a random 360 spinout, win 1st place?)

Rumors are flying that Lexus corporate was REALLY pissed about this and C&D may even print some sort of retraction/apology because of it.
