Guess where all the BMW 7-series buybacks are going?
It's about time!
Are you out there wondering, what poor saps are ending up with the problem sevens, that have been bought back by BMW?
Well the good news is a lot of them are not going to be resold soon.
They will be offered to dealers (after they are fixed/updated at HUGE discounts) to use a service loaners for 7-series owners to drive, when their cars are in for service.
So can can you scoop one for $10K below invoice?
Not likely.
BMW smartened up, after the Spies found the loophole last fall, to buy the 2002 units on the program.
BMW is making the dealers who participate in this program, sign an agreement to hold them for one year before they can sell them, so they can't just 'turn and burn' these babies.
But then again, the spies are pretty good at finding the loopholes!
Stay tuned.
