News leaking out of Tokyo is confirming our predictions from early this year that Lexus will roll their IS convertible concept at the 'Big Freeze', otherwise known as the Detroit auto show.
The concept will be shown with a huge 450+HP V8 but our sources tell us you will see less powerful/expensive versions make production.
The 5.0 liter V8 will be reserved for the highest end M/AMG competitor.
We should also learn the official name of the Lexus performance edition brands.
Anyone have any suggestions for the name that will compete with BMW's M-series, Mercedes AMG's and Audi's S-line?
How about the Lexus PMD (Lexus Performance Division)?
