The REAL reason for the delay, of the MB DVD Navigation System
We finally get to the bottom of it
So here's the inside scoop we've heard, on why the new MB DVD Nav system is still not here:
Sources tell us, MB is trying to save money on the E-class by incorporating all the telematics features, with only one GPS sensor handling the load. The S-class and CL-class have two GPS sensors (one for Nav and one for Teleaid), so that's why the DVD is already working.
We're told it STILL isn't perfected and the system could be delayed, maybe even cancelled for 2003 cars (Now there's a bees nest ready to burst).
