Having driven the 2010 BMW X5M myself, I must say it is an incredible handling machine. But, it appears our driver in this situation forgot it weighs more than two tons. I must admit it is pretty easy to let that fact slip your mind because this M is outstandingly nimble.

One chap found out the hard way, unfortunately, as somewhere in Europe an X5M is spotted wrong side up.

Thankfully, it was reported that no one was injured in the crash. And if you look closely you can easily figure out why; the cockpit's cage is intact and the curtain airbags deployed as they should have.

GTspirit reports:

"It is winter time and people are going out for some skiing and snowboarding. Icy roads can make the route to the destination tricky. Even with four-wheel drive and winter tyres.

The BMW X5M slid away, crashed against the guardrail and flipped upside down. The passengers didn’t get hurt at all. The only problem they experienced was releasing their seatbelt and leaving the car!"
