This day has finally come. Someone has actually spotted a Toyota...er...Aston Martin Cygnet out in the open.

Boasting the surefooted traits of an Aston, the widemouth facade, side vents, hood venting and the infamously winged logos, this Cygnet made quite a splash in London. Probably one of the few places someone would plunk down £30,000 on an Aston Martin city car.

Is this car downright foolish or is it the most ingenious idea by the legendary British marque?

"The Cygnet has landed... in London! Armed only with an iPhone, our spies caught this unusual looking Aston driving around China town in Central London.

It is of course the Aston Martin Cygnet - a Toyota IQ-based city
car that has been heavily modified to be worthy of the Aston badge. And this is this first time the small but luxurious Brit has been seen in the flesh by anyone outside Aston Martin.

Clearly visible are the bodywork modifications..."
