You may remember Audi as the brand whose top brass said they were not trying to position themselves as a green brand. Well, that would be pretty hard to tell considering within the past 12 months there has been a marked impression of electric Audis showing up at the major auto venues.

One of our top cars at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show was the Audi eTron Detroit Concept. It was essentially more or less a miniature R8 that had a bit of plastic surgery to its butt.

However, Audi did something strange in Geneva. It introduced the A1 eTron, which is realistic. Unlike the other impractical eTrons, the A1 is a hot hatch that provides plenty of utility and functionality in an urban package. Oh, and it won't cost an arm and a leg.

We want to know, do YOU think that this could be the best iteration of the eTron nameplate?
