Ferrari's 612 has been around for quite some time, so you know what that means; time for a replacement.

Spotted doing some winter testing in lovely Sweden, the replacement for the 612 Scaglietti appears to be sporting a LOOOOOONGer nose and California-inspired stacked exhausts. So, what does this Pinocchio look mean? Auto Motor Und Sport is suggesting that this longer nose means that there will be new V12 being worked out in Maranello.

But even more intriguing is the possibility that the new motor may not surpass the current 612's 540-ponies. If anything, it is likely the car will utilize more space-age technology in order to become lighter than the current 612.

Another possibility is Ferrari embracing their newly-found Hy-KERS technology.

We are all for it, provided it keeps Ferrari's cars coming to the States...
