The last five years have seen a remarkable turnaround in the fortunes of General Motors’ Cadillac division. To maintain momentum through 2006, the brand is shifting into higher gear by launching a series of new products.
Leading the charge is the new generation of the Escalade, arguably the vehicle that helped put Cadillac back on the map. As well as this just-released luxury SUV, two new high performance V-series editions enter showrooms this summer, the supercharged XLR-V and STS-V. Both V models stake out new territory for Cadillac, the STS being the most powerful Cadillac ever offered, and the XLR being the quickest and the most expensive - at $100,000.
