Everyone has been wondering when the new 3-series with the upgraded engine will be officially announced.
It has been rumored to be called the 335i.
While looking at the Detroit news tonight I noticed they are showing a photo gallery of the BMW 350xi.
If this is right (or did they just make a mistake?), then that would mean the 330i would change to the 350i when BMW makes the official announcement soon.
Could it be, BMW changed the name at the last minute because of the sales momentum Lexus is building with the new IS350?
Would consumer's think the new 3 was underpowered compared to the IS if it was named 335 instead of 350?
What does the most sophisticated automotive audience in the world (that would be you, the AutoSpies.com reader) have to say regarding this subject?
