The head of BMW reckons his company is nowhere near done growing and looks set to add even more derivatives to its already-bulging waistline.

BMW chairman Helmut Panke spoke about several possible BMW models in a recent interview with Auto Motor und Sport, with the most likely additions being an M7 and an entry-level Rolls-Royce.

Panke said an M-powered version of BMW’s flagship 7 Series would be developed in response to market demand, but primarily to battle Mercedes-Benz’s fire-breathing S63 AMG.

M7 details remain virtually non-existant, but we'll speculate that when it arrives it could be fitted with the 5,0-litre V10 already familiar to M5 and M6 owners. It may even be powered by a stretched version of the 760's 327-kW 6,0-litre V12.
