Although the past 12 months has been swarmed with plenty of alternative energy vehicles, it has also been a huge year for supercars. And, from what I have seen, it appears that the the two front runners are the McLaren MP4-12C and Lexus' LFA.
The question is, however, would you want to see more variations of the McLaren?
With rumors circulating that McLaren's idle hands have been hard working on a convertible and possibly a 2+2 MP4, it is possible we could get some other hot cars nibbling away at Ferrari and Lamborghini's market share.
Considering the amount of detail and work that McLaren put into the F1, something tells us if anyone is capable of producing a daily driving 2+2 supercar, it is McLaren.

According to Autoblog.com, new reports are suggesting that McLaren Automotive is planning on squeezing an extra couple of seats into the MP4-12C to make it a proper 2+2. They will increase the size of the cabin to accommodate the additional seats...
