After what seemed to be an on/off, always rumored but never confirmed project, the big-daddy Camaro Z28 has been caught on camera.
But do not get too excited, since it seems that only one mule has been spotted it could either mean two things: 1) the development process has just begun OR 2) it is merely just a bunch of engineers just seeing what the Camaro is capable of.
I mean, you have to remember company's build wacky stuff all the time. Case in point: the BMW X5 V12 Le Mans.
Let's assume they are building this massive-motored Camaro Z28 though. First off, awesome. Secondly, we think its going to look a lot like the "Z28 Bumblebee" that made an appearance in Transformers 2 -- not that I saw the movie, but that's what its front clip looks like after doing some quick research.
We also do not believe that Chevrolet would be slotting in the LS9, ZR1 powerplant under the hood. More likely would be the CTS-V's LSA motor propelling Camaro passengers from zero to "Oh my God!"
What say you, SPIES? Cool news or merely "meh?"

But this mule also has a telltale engine marking: a strip of paper indicating the venomous 6.2-liter supercharged V8 is underhood, and this particular example is using a slushbox...
