As 00R has dubbed 2010 Recallfest, another automaker has joined the growing list of manufacturers having to recall a product. This time it's Hyundai.

CNNMoney reports that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is saying:

"On some of these vehicles the steering column intermediate shaft universal joint connections may have been either improperly assembled or insufficiently tightened."

As this isn't some silly recall that has a emblem that could possibly impale someone if you hit them, this could render your 2011 Sonata as a driving paperweight if its steering becomes reduced or lost.

Expect the recall to begin in October.
