The first development test-mules for the next-generation model of the Lexus GS luxury sedan that’s due next year have been spotted. The current Lexus GS luxury sedan has been on the market since the 2006 model year so it’s definitely good timing, especially since the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-Series, and the next-generation Audi A6 will soon be launched.

In these latest spy shots of the upcoming model, it seems that overall length was cut slightly, but the wheelbase is expected to remain at 112.2 inches. These modified wheel arches suggest that the new Lexus GS will get a slightly wider track.
